HDFC Bank, India's leading consumer banking services provider selects ACL's-Bulk SMS service to manage its SMS alerts

HDFC Bank selected ACL's Bulk SMS Service to manage SMS alerts for its million of customers.

ACL’s Bulk SMS service is an efficient and robust platform that enables enterprises to broadcast, track and analyze bulk SMS’ to their customers for updates, transaction alerts, marketing and customer care. It also offers intelligent routing, load distribution, real time manipulation and dynamic capacity management. The service would enable HDFC Bank to efficiently manage the alert deliveries to its customers. Also, it would help the Bank to analyze end-to-end delivery statistics, delivery efficiency rates and vendor failure rates.

Uganda Telecom provides SMS Chat service from ACL to its 2 million subscribers

Uganda Telecom selected ACL Wireless’s SMS Chat service to provide yet another exiting communication experience to its subscribers.

SMS Chat, which is a user-friendly SMS-based chat service enables users to create quick profile and search for friends with similar interests by using the criteria-based search feature. The users can also look for new friends via ‘Match me’ feature which returns instantaneous results matching the users’ profile. With connection to Y/M/I facilitated via single click, the users can also chat with their PC-based IM friends from their mobile. The service also contains several interesting chat rooms, which are easily accessible to all.

While exchanging messages and connecting with friends using unique buddy-number, the service allows its users to maintain complete anonymity without revealing their mobile number ever.

By offering the service at only 50 Ugandan shilling per message, it is bound to see success in the Ugandan market.

Qtel Launched Mozaic Frenzo – Mobile Social Networking Service on its wap portal

Qtel launched Frenzo – Mobile Social Networking service for its subscribers in partnership with ACL Wireless Limited. Users can access Frenzo by clicking on the “Community and Chat” link on Mozaic mobile internet portal of Qtel.

Qtel subscribers can access Frenzo by pointing their mobile internet browsers to ‘wap.mozaic.qa’. Users can then register their profile with basic information to start using the service. Users have an option to enrich their profile with photos, interests, likes/dislikes, etc. After the profile creation, users can search and add new friends to their friend list and exchange messages with them. The service is being offered with zero browsing charges for a weekly subscription of one Qatari Riyal. Initially, the users would get one month free trial period. Users can also use the Frenzo content shop for buying and sending virtual gifts to their friends. These gifts are available at variable price points.

The Frenzo service enables mobile users to connect safely, make new friends and interact with people based on common interests. Users can send invites to new members as well as send one-2-one messages to their friends. Apart from addictive and easy-to-use features, Frenzo allows automatic authentication for seamless sign-in into the service. The users can have total control over what information they put in their profile, set privacy preferences to control who can contact them and view their information.

Users can also search for other users across operators in Middle East on the Frenzo Network. Other features include criteria-based search, photo sharing, posts/comments, SMS alerts that give users an always-on “Instant Social Messaging” experience.
