Celcom launches "chatZone" on its network in Malaysia

New Delhi, India, June 18, 2004 - Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad, the country's most experienced and premier mobile cellular telecommunications company, today announced the launch of ACL's Wireless Instant Messenger (WIM) on its network.
Aptly entitled 'chatZone', this WIM enables Celcom's 019 and 013 customers to chat with their acquaintances through mobile phones instead of via personal computers within and outside the home network. Just type GO, send to 29400 and the charges will be RM0.30 sen per message transaction.
chatZone is based on ACL's latest offering on Wireless Instant Messaging solution. Currently on Celcom, the service is available via SMS which comes packed with popular features such as Make new friends across Asia, Checkout chatrooms, Chat with PC friends, Login to Yahoo, MSN, ICQ messenger services.
