ACL forays into Indonesian market Launches XL Messenger

ACL Wireless, leaders in Wireless Instant Messaging space in India, announced the launch of Instant Messaging on Indonesian-based Excelcom networks. The service, XL Messenger, which was launched today for the Excelcom subscribers, the (third) largest telecom operator in Indonesia, has become an instant hit with the exchange (Number of messages per hour) on the first day.

Through this unique offering, ACL has transferred the concept of online chat on to a mobile phone. This simple and user-friendly interface not only provides the users a global reach, it also provides the users with a wonderfully new, unique and enriching messaging experience.

Commenting on the launch of the service, Mr. Julian Vincent, Director Asia-Pacific, ACL Wireless Ltd. said, "The combination of unique and powerful features provides Excelcom with the most useful, exciting and fun messaging service for their customers. We expect a fast consumer adoption on Excelcom, as users here are already SMS savvy".
