ACL is India's fastest growing technology company: Deloitte

New Delhi - ACL Wireless Ltd., a leading developer and provider of mobile applications for consumers as well as enterprises and also the leader in the Instant Messaging & Community space in emerging markets across the globe and 30 mobile operator customers across 18 countries, has been ranked the fastest growing technology company in the 'Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India 2005'. With this announcement ACL rounded off a double victory, having already been selected amongst the winners of this year's 'Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2005'.
The rankings announced recently at the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India Awards ceremony at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, saw some of the top names in the technology, media and telecommunications industry come together to honour the winners.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2005 program is a ranking of the top 500 technology companies in Asia Pacific. The ranking is designed to provide a global platform for measuring, recognizing and analysing growth. Companies are ranked according to average revenue growth rates over the past three years.
The 500 companies in this year's ranking grew by an average of 518 percent over the last three years. The winning company achieved growth of 31,980 percent.
The business sector breakdown of the ranking in 2005 is similar to previous years: semiconductor, components and electronics constituted 23 percent of the listing; the software sector provided 20 percent of ranked companies and communications/networking companies provided two of the top five rankings this year, growing their sectoral share to 19 percent.
These businesses deserve to be celebrated for the lessons they provide to all ambitious technology companies. ACL was ranked 15th, but with a three- year growth rate percent of 2,102, the company is ranked highest among the software enterprises of India .
Speaking at the event, Sanjay Goyal , CEO, ACL Wireless Ltd, said: "We're very pleased to be receiving this recognition from Deloitte.
